About Jupeb
JUPEB
The Federal Government of Nigeria approved JUPEB Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board as a nationwide examination body in December 2013. A consortium of ten (10) member universities, led by the University of Lagos, officially created it in April 2014.
WHY ENROLL IN JUPEB
Over 95% of Nigerian universities recognise JUPEB certificates for direct entry (DE) admission to level 2000.
JUPEB applicants are not required to take the UTME in order to get admitted.
The JUPEB certificate is perpetual.
You don't need to waste time applying for admission to the 100 level because the nine months of study for these programmes are equivalent to the time spent in the 100 level of any university.
JUPEB is a programme at a high level. Without taking the JAMB UTME, interested candidates can enrol in the second year of a JUPEB-approved institution.
Candidates seeking admission into any Nigerian university through Direct Entry are the target audience for the JUPEB programme (DE). The course is approximately nine (9) months long and was divided into two semesters. Students are subjected to rigorous lectures from Monday through Friday during this time, along with a weekly C. A test.
