A key component of the programme that students should be concerned about is eligibility. Before submitting an application for the programme, each student should determine whether they satisfy the requirements. When it comes to JUPEB, there is just one factor—the O'level result—that determines a student's eligibility for the programme. Students must have an O'level score with a passing grade in the courses pertaining to their intended course of study in order to be admitted to 200level through the JUPEB programme. A consortium of ten (10) member universities, led by the University of Lagos, officially created it in April 2014. WHY ENROLL IN JUPEB Over 95% of Nigerian universities recognise JUPEB certificates for direct entry (DE) admission to level 2000. JUPEB applicants are not required to take the UTME in order to get admitted. The JUPEB certificate is perpetual. You don't need to waste time applying for admission to the 100 level because the nine months of study for these programmes are equivalent to the time spent in the 100 level of any university.
